SV	Maar David zag, dat zijn knechten mompelden; zo merkte David, dat het kind dood was. Dies zeide David tot zijn knechten: Is het kind dood? En zij zeiden: Het is dood.
WLC	וַיַּ֣רְא דָּוִ֗ד כִּ֤י עֲבָדָיו֙ מִֽתְלַחֲשִׁ֔ים וַיָּ֥בֶן דָּוִ֖ד כִּ֣י מֵ֣ת הַיָּ֑לֶד וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֧ד אֶל־עֲבָדָ֛יו הֲמֵ֥ת הַיֶּ֖לֶד וַיֹּ֥אמְרוּ מֵֽת׃
Trans.	wayyarə’ dāwiḏ kî ‘ăḇāḏāyw miṯəl^aḥăšîm wayyāḇen dāwiḏ kî mēṯ hayyāleḏ wayyō’mer dāwiḏ ’el-‘ăḇāḏāyw hămēṯ hayyeleḏ wayyō’mərû mēṯ:

AC	יט וירא דוד כי עבדיו מתלחשים ויבן דוד כי מת הילד ויאמר דוד אל עבדיו המת הילד ויאמרו מת
ASV	But when David saw that his servants were whispering together, David perceived that the child was dead; and David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
BE	But when David saw that his servants were talking together quietly, he was certain that the child was dead: and he said to his servants, Is the child dead? and they said, He is.
Darby	But David saw that his servants whispered, and David perceived that the child was dead; and David said to his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
